Organisation
I joined VEGA Group Plc in August 1993 and worked their until May 2012 through two mergers with SELEX Sistemi Integrati and Finmeccanica when it was re-branded as SELEX SI.
VEGA core capabilities of consulting and software engineering were focused on Aerospace and Defence industries; adding Critical National Infrastructure customers during the merger.
Finmeccanica has subsequently been re-branded as Leonardo.
Career
Starting as a software engineering I joined the Aerospace Division working on numerous European Space Agency (ESA) projects covering domains such as Remote Sensing, Network Communications and Ground Segment Operating Systems.
As my career developed and I took on roles as Unix Adminstrator, Technical Architect, Scrum Master, Project Manager and Head of Business Area.
